God, how we ache to be free

We will make a brand new start
From the pieces torn apart
The break of day is before us
Cast your sorrows to the wind
Let the highway take us in
As we escape the disorder

this is life in Santa Barbara. I feel apocalyptic (in a good way?). It's kind of exciting (so far no homes have been burned down, so I don't feel TERRIBLE making that statement).

I crashed pre-Socratics, and I dropped continental philosophy like a habit that you never really wanted nor had an interest in but somehow got roped into having because all the other habits were full.

I'm excited! Yeah!

3. The Iliad, Homer
4. Complete Works of Shakespeare (or if that's cheating, Hamlet)
5. Walden, Thoreau (tentative)

Woe, Discordia! The advent of this modern world has made itself quite clear in mine eyes; I yearn for that golden time of PRE-MODERNITY, wherein I would fast in Berze-la-Ville, I would pray in the colonnades of Bassae, and I would lay me down in Chartres and Amiens.

Basically, I like architecture before the development of the printing press much more.
